The Yale 8K102 Push Button Window Lock is a compact surface-mounted security lock designed for hinged timber casement windows, particularly outward-opening windows with narrow frames. The simple push-to-lock mechanism allows the window to be secured quickly by pressing the lock barrel into position, while a key is required to release it.
The lock is surface fixed to the window frame and engages with the supplied lock plate. A wedge plate is included for use with tapered window frames, together with fixing screws. The white finish provides a discreet appearance that suits traditional and modern timber window frames.
