The Yale B-YS3-5045N is a Platinum 3 Star anti-snap euro double cylinder lock. It is a high-security replacement lock that can be fitted to many types of doors, including timber, composite, and UPVC, to upgrade security.
How to measure your lock! (Pleas see Images)
Measurement A - Measure from one end of the cylinder to the middle of the central screw hole.
Measurement B - Measure from the other end to the middle of the central screw hole.
High security rating
The lock is approved to the British Standard TS007:2014 3-star rating, the highest level of certification for euro cylinders. It is also endorsed by the Police Secured by Design scheme.
Anti-snap technology
The lock is designed with a sacrificial section on the external end to resist attacks. Even if the outer part of the cylinder is snapped, the internal mechanism will remain secure, allowing you to operate it from the inside.
Multi-layered protection
In addition to anti-snap properties, the cylinder is built with components that resist other attack methods, including anti-pick, anti-screw, anti-pull, anti-bump, and anti-drill technology.
