The Yale Platinum 3 Star Euro Thumbturn Cylinder is a high-security replacement cylinder designed to provide enhanced protection for compatible uPVC, composite and timber doors. This 35/35 (70mm) cylinder features Yale's multi-layered security design with protection against lock snapping, picking, bumping, drilling, screwing and pulling. The anti-snap design incorporates a sacrificial section intended to break away under attack while helping protect the locking mechanism.
The internal thumbturn allows the door to be locked and unlocked from inside without using a key, while the external side is operated with a key. The cylinder is BSI Kitemarked to TS007:2014 3 Star, is Secured by Design approved, and carries a 10-year mechanical guarantee. The polished brass finish provides a traditional appearance suitable for brass door furniture.
